
- Maximize tire life by maintaining proper pressure. (this can almost double a tire's lifespan).

- Lend things among friends rather than everyone buying something only used intermittently.

- Find someone who can use whatever you no longer need.

- Reuse envelopes to pay bills by crossing out the old addresses.

- Use a cloth hankie. It takes 6,000,000 trees to make one year's worth of tissues for the world!

- When buying take-out beverages, bring a washable mug with a lid.

- Keep a list handy of places where things can be repaired, bought or sold, used or donated.

- Give old glasses to a local charity - they will get them to someone in need.

- Cut off the front piece of used greeting cards and create a supply of postcards or gift tags.

- Suggest hotels change your linens and towels every other day or on request. (Many hotels now do this...good for the earth and good for their budget)
