Potato Chip Purse

This colorful clutch purse (or travel bag for cosmetics?) is called a 'Trash Bag'. It is made from potato chip bags that litter the communities of Honduras and made by a group of women called Manos de Madres whose motto is 'Beautiful products made with hope and joy by the hands of extraordinary women.' The project provides desperately needed income to the women artists and supports education and community health projects.
