P'lovers currently has six locations - Halifax and Mahone Bay, in Nova Scotia, and Stratford, Port Perry, London and Kingston in Ontario. The Halifax and Mahone Bay stores are co-owned by P'lovers' founders, Ann Caverzan and Liz Crocker. The Ontario stores are all franchises and are independently owned.
"P'lovers welcomes new franchises to the P'lovers' network", co-owner Liz Crocker says. "Having more stores helps P'lovers honour its mission of having more people learn about products that will help people live more sensitively with the earth. In addition to providing a wide array of non-toxic, recycled, natural, organic, and re-used alternatives, each P'lovers works to enhance the economic development of communities by buying as locally as possible."
Ann Caverzan, P'lovers' other co-owner, reminds visitors to the website that "anyone, anywhere in the world, can contact P'lovers simply by e-mailing info@plovers.net. Being able to visit a store is great but it is not the only way to try to do your part to help the environment!"
